Mandera – Herringbone Layered CF + Battle Scale

We are proud to introduce our new model,  the Mandera.  This design was originally created over a year ago by Jared Van Otterloo while we were still engineering the Astio.  Over the year we have put countless hours into the creation of this knife and we are thrilled that we are finally able to showcase this new evolution of Begg Knives to you.  The fluted Carpenter XHP blade has been hand-ground and given a Mirror Bevel/Mirror Tip with directional hand satin flats. On this version the titanium frame has been through a multi-stage process where it has been stonewashed, coated and then tumbled again to slightly reveal the titanium underneath. The frame is then anodized so that the anodized color peaks through giving the frame a two-tone distressed look.  Available in Battle Black, Bronze or Blue (Battle Bronze is pictured).  Inlays are herringbone carbon fiber cut a 5-degree angle so all the layers are displayed.  The fully 3D machined pocket clip has been jewel iced and given our trademark ceramic ball bearing.  A jewel iced pocket clip and back-spacer complete the look. Made exclusively at our California Custom Group facility in Petaluma, CA and Comes with our Begg Knives certificate of authenticity.
